Peters Path Charities:

Helping Children Worldwide

“The mission of Helping Children Worldwide, a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization, is to provide hope to impoverished children, the most vulnerable people in the world, by alleviating their suffering, meeting their physical, emotional and spiritual needs, improving their living environment, general community and providing the opportunity for the children and their families to grow into contributing members of society.” Sarah Newman, Executive Director

In 2000, the Child Rescue Centre rescued 140 children from the streets of Bo, Sierra Leone. The children receive food, clothing, education, healthcare and a safe place to live and grow.As of the end of 2007 nearly 200 children are secure in the trust that they will be cared for; that they will be given the best possible opportunities for education and life skills training; that their healthcare needs will be met; that people love them and will help them succeed.

From May 4-May 11, 2009, Peters Path Corporation donated 100% of their profits from the sale of their organic t-shirts to Helping Children Worldwide and the Child Rescue Centre. Thank you to all of you who helped to aid the children of Sierra Leone.

Ian’s Friends Foundation

Ian’s Friend’s Foundation is a non-profit organization committed to funding the support of pediatric brain tumor research.
Unfortunately, there is very little research being done. IFF was created in the hopes of finding promising and alternative therapies in addition to conventional ones. We also seek to bring public awareness to the severity of pediatric brain tumors and the funding so desperately needed to sponsor research to ultimately find a cure. With your help, we hope that a few will be able to help the many children afflicted with this terrible disease.

Kate's Club

Kate’s Club is a non-profit organization that empowers children and teens facing life after the death of a parent or sibling. By creating friendships with kids and young adults that share the experience, Kate’s Club guides children through their grief journey in a comfortable, safe, and uplifting setting.

Christine Peters was honored to be one of the hosts of this years annual Kate's Club Cabaret fundraiser, held Fri. Aug.21,2009 at the W Atlanta Hotel. The event completely sold out, and surpassed it's fundraising goals! The night was filled with delicious food and drinks, fabulous entertainment, and lots of dancing! What a great statement, that even in an economy that is struggling, we can all join together and raise money to help support these grieving children! We can't wait for next year's Cabaret.
